The OceanX Summit 2026 brought together global leaders, scientists, explorers, educators and changemakers to examine how we can advance our understanding of the ocean and turn discovery into lasting impact.

Held from 7–9 October 2026 in Singapore aboard R/V OceanXplorer, the second annual Summit welcomed more than 750 participants and over 60 speakers across five frontiers: Education, Leadership, Ocean Science, the Blue Economy and Collaboration.

Across three days, conversations explored how scientific research can inform ocean protection, how immersive education can inspire the next generation, and how collaboration can help translate knowledge into meaningful action.

The conversations and connections established at the Summit continue beyond the vessel, helping shape a shared future for the ocean and the communities that depend on it.

Throughout the Summit, R/V OceanXplorer became a platform for immersive experiences that brought ocean science, storytelling and emerging technologies together.

Across 20+ installations, artists, scientists and technology partners transformed complex scientific concepts into engaging, multisensory experiences. From underwater soundscapes to interactive visualisations and installations inspired by marine ecosystems, visitors encountered new ways to understand the ocean and their relationship with it.

These experiences reflected OceanX's commitment to making ocean science accessible and inspiring greater curiosity about the world beneath the surface.
