From immersive projection domes to extended reality, our Multimedia Learning programs use innovative technologies to connect people with the ocean in new and captivating ways. Whether hosted at a museum, school, or public event, these experiences invite participants to explore the ocean, engage with real missions, and imagine a future where science and storytelling drive ocean change.
Our extended reality (XR) programs use virtual reality, augmented reality, and immersive media to transport participants deep into the action of ocean science. Delivering stunning, cinematic experiences in compact spaces, these experiences make large-scale content more accessible in classrooms, libraries, and public events.
The OceanX Portal is a portable, immersive projection done that offers an interactive, behind-the-scenes view of the ocean. From submersible dives to mission planning, the Portal brings learners into direct contact with groundbreaking ocean research and the people who make it possible.
Inspired by our OceanXplorers series created in collaboration with National Geographic, this traveling museum exhibit puts visitors inside a full-scale interactive replica of the OceanXplorer vessel. Attendees choose their own adventure to explore ocean environments and experience what it’s like to lead a deep-sea mission.
